Apparently, this species is found as canned mackerel in the USA. I have a can from MOROCCO (a sardine-can shape) which lists the contents as this species specifically. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.124.116.101 (talk) 21:43, 28 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
