Horrible IPs doing lots of damage

This has been going on for quite a while. A number of IP editors are making terrible edits on the pages of various common Singaporean politicians and political pages. Those of us here who have reverted these edits would know what I mean.

Examples:

  • 121.6.221.174 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)
    • unexplained template changes [1] [2]
    • unsourced content addition [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10]
    • confusing, unexplained edits [11]
  • refusal to engage in dialogue; see User talk:121.6.221.174
  • 121.7.146.201 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)
    • unexplained template changes [12] [13] [14] [15] [16] [17] [18]
    • unexplained content removal [19]
    • unexplained content addition [20] [21]
    • refusal to engage in dialogue despite multiple warnings; see User talk:121.7.146.201
  • 121.6.220.110 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)
    • unexplained template changes [22] [23] [24]
    • puzzling content removals [25] [26] [27]
    • refusal to engage in dialogue [28] or use edit summaries

Because of the similar nature of their edits, which are done often on the exact same pages and consecutively, I suspect that these IPs belong to a single editor. Even if they aren't, their persistent unexplained and unhelpful edits, combined with a lack of interest in engaging in the rules of Wikipedia, make their edits troublesome, difficult to deal with, and non-constructive. Dawkin Verbier (talk) 08:21, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Update: I have opened an ANI on this. Dawkin Verbier (talk) 08:26, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
My theory is that these IPs are indeed the work of a single person who previously edited as Sgweirdo (talk · contribs), Garfield_3185 (talk · contribs) and/or Sgspeedo (talk · contribs). Their incompetent edits are pretty much identical. MordukhovichAleakin (talk) 08:53, 22 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
How so? Perhaps we can open a sockpuppet investigation. My ANI was automatically archived after three days, as no one commented on it. Dawkin Verbier (talk) 02:24, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
2406:3003:2007:279D:C5A7:8268:8665:AD69 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) also appears to be making similar edits. Dawkin Verbier (talk) 02:25, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Pinging @Justanothersgwikieditor for comment. Dawkin Verbier (talk) 02:39, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Dawkin Verbier Sorry for the late reply as I was on a wikibreak due to work and personal commitments. Give me a day or two to read up and give you my comments. Thanks! ~ JASWE (talk) 08:42, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Dawkin Verbier while the behaviour is similar but basically these IP accounts have gone stale and non-disruptive already. I would suggest to just let it go and carry on with our usual things. ~ JASWE (talk) 04:11, 11 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Justanothersgwikieditor 121.7.143.232 is now being problematic, making wide, unsourced, and unexplained changes to pages and creating dozens of edits per day. Dawkin Verbier (talk) 14:17, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Need help

Hello there, I will like to create an article in regards on the WP's recent incident relating to Raeesah Khan's exit and the WP all the way up to Pritam Singh's perjury, and if time permits, the cumulation of Aljunied-Hougang Town Council controversy, plus the billion dollar money laundering case. We dunno what might have in stores or what to write, or even concern on what title to name was appropriate. Perhaps maybe anyone who is experienced enough could help me if required. Thank you so much! Sculture65 (talk) 09:39, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request for review: would anyone be able to help with reviewing a draft wikipedia page for Farisha Ishak?

Hi there,

I created an article for Farisha Ishak, a singer-songwriter who won the first season of the Final 1, and was signed to Hype Records. She then did hosting, acting, and advocacy work.

I created the article in January and it was quickly rejected. However, I made changes a few days later, but it has not been reviewed again since.

Since this is the Wikiproject Singapore page, I was hoping someone may be able to help with getting the article reviewed?

Here is the link to the page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Farisha_Ishak

If you have other tips or think another wikiproject page is better to ask for a review, please let me know.

Thank you!
