Stuff I work on:

Are you new to Wikipedia...

  • and looking for a satisfying task? Check out Category:Wikipedia introduction cleanup. You don't (or shouldn't) need to do any research to fix these articles - most of them are here because they are tagged with "lead too short". Find one of those, read the article, then rewrite the lead so it summarizes it accurately. Now you can remove the "lead too short" tag. Done! Since the "lead" is what is shown in Google Search results and so on, this is an immediately helpful and visible change. You've made the internet better already!
  • and interested in translating articles to English? Make sure you read WP:HOWTRANS. Attribution is really important!
  • and interested in writing biographies of women? Join WP:WIRED! It's a very active wikiproject, and very welcoming to newcomers.
  • and looking for help? Feel free to ask any questions on my Talk page. You can also ask at WP:TEA.

Being a new editor can be really hard. If I can make it easier for you, let me know.

This award is given in recognition to Asilvering for collecting more than 5 points during the WikiProject Unreferenced articles's FEB24 backlog drive. Your contributions played a crucial role in sourcing 14,300 unsourced articles during the drive. Thank you so much for participating and helping to reduce the backlog! – – DreamRimmer (talk) 17:58, 8 March 2024 (UTC)

If you have an article on a humanities topic languishing in the GA nominations queue because its sources are in French or German and no one wants to touch it, I'm happy to have a look - ask on my Talk page. If you're working on premodern literature or manuscripts in English, French, German, Latin, or any historical forms of those languages, I'm happy to help with or review for those at any time; just ask.
