How is Gilboa "separating the Valleys" from each other?

The article states that Mt Gilboa is "separating the southeastern end of the Jezreel Valley to the west, from the Beit She'an and Ein Harod valleys to the east." I cannot figure out the exact outline of the three valleys, especially not the demarcation between them. Also unclear (and related to the previous question): where is the "southeastern end of the Jezreel Valley"? Is it stretching SSE of Afula towards Jenin? How far does it reach in that direction? Is it's eastern end basically split in two by the NW end of Mt Gilboa? That's the only way how it (or: its eastern, as opposed to its southeastern ending) can be separated by Mt Gilboa from the Ein Harod Valley. And even then, the more northerly "end" of the Jezreel Valley still is contiguous with the Harod Valley, so hardly "separated". Or isn't it? Arminden (talk) 09:18, 28 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
