Firuzabad (Persian: فيروزآباد), also Romanized as Fīrūzābād and Fīrūz Ābād,^[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Firuzabad District of Selseleh County, Lorestan province, Iran.^[4] It also serves as the administrative center for Firuzabad Rural District.^[5]

At the 2006 census, its population was 2,857 in 614 households.^[6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,876 people in 705 households.^[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,399 people in 958 households.^[2]
