If I remember right, the Europefan account was created to evade page protection on List of German inventions and discoveries back when all this edit warring started. From what I can tell, this guy's M.O. never changes: he adds unsourced POV edits, carries on edit wars, and creates new socks as needed. It's so obvious who it is when you see the edits, I think it would work to simply block him on sight from now on. He only edits a small set of pages, and he only edits them in a specific way.   • I was referring to the rangeblocks noted the archive. He seems to have a dynamic IP that shifts around the ranges of 188.96... 88.70... and 178... in Oldenburg, Germany. From what I can tell, he edits from one of these IPs until he wants to create a new article, then creates a new user account and uses it for a while before reverting to one of the IPs.

I think some admins make a big mistake if they delete articlies like Marc Bator (a famous German journalist) or Hildegard Krekel (a famous German actress) (written be me). But if it is the will of English/American guys, to hurt English Wikipedia, so it should be. I only write as German speaking author articles and have no interest or enough time to talk and fight over tricks in English Wikipedia. And last but not least it is unbelievable, that some british and american guys don't know that Nicolaus Copernicus was from German descent. And this fight with a british guy User:Dennis Bratland over Nicolaus Copernicus was the reason for the blocking of my writings of articles.

In anderen Worten gesagt: Admins schaden der Englischen Wikipedia, wenn Ihr solche Artikel wie über Hildegard Krekel, eine bekannte kürzlich verstorbene deutsche Schauspielerin, und Marc Bator, einem bekannten deutschen Journalisten, löscht. Aber mir ist das letztlich piepegal, wenn Ihr so in der englischen Wikipedia mit relevanten Artikeln umgeht. The second problem is your unwillingness to seek consensus on talk pages, and unwillingness to accept that consensus doesn't always go your way. Nobody gets the opportunity to present his case about article content unless he follows Wikipedia's most basic rules of conduct. You should suggest to your friend to cease using multiple accounts and other subterfuge, and finally agree to follow the same rules that apply to everyone else. This is getting ridiculous. He's been at this for over a year now, and still he is continuing to evade his block by changing his IPs. Requesting a Checkuser to help out on this one, and to run a sleeper check. In the past, rangeblocks have made this less labor-intensive for the period of the rangeblock, so they provide some temporary relief. I don't think any kind of block is a permanent solution because this person has shown they intend to persist indefinitely. They remain an editor in good standing at de.wikipedia.org, so they don't have a strong motive to change. I think the only permanent solutions are either a ban on German Wikipedia (unlikely, since the admins there don't care about en.wikipeida.org) or else convince Europefan to agree to cease socking and edit by the same rules as everyone else. This drama could end if they would agree to cease the disruptive behavior, which he has shown he is capable of doing on the German site.
