  • Response: Would it not would be more appropriate to mention that 10ds is a synonym in the 10 Downing Street article (with proper references of course), rather than using a redirect? However, I don't believe this is an established term. Per [[1]] "If a redirect is not an established term and is unlikely to be used by searchers, it is unlikely to be useful".
    • It is of no use mentioning it in the article, because the point of the quiz is, what is the answer to the puzzle, "1Ods". And I'm hardly going to agree it is unlikely to be used by searchers, because that is exactly what I did. At the end of the day, deleting it gains nothing, it isn't in the way of any better target, and redirects are cheap. MickMacNee (talk) 17:26, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

• Comment — When I first saw "10ds" I expected a redirect to Coins of the pound sterling or to Penny (British pre-decimal coin). Am I the only one to make that association? • Delete – Of all the hits a search for "10ds" brings up, only one seems to have any relation to 10 Downing Street. The others are all either part of the string "top 10 DS games" or part of the name of some product or software. • Weak keep Keep - this is one of the very few where I would keep an interspace redirect. It's of value only for very new users who haven't yet figured out how the namespaces work, and these are the same users who haven't figured out yet how more experienced editors keep a watchlist and keep an eye on the threads they start on other user talk pages. However, I take that to mean that they like using the template, and it's easier to do that by typing {{tb}} or {{talkback}} than {{WP:Talkback}} or {{Wikipedia:Talkback}}. In the end, I think that this rediect would lead to more confusion (about namespaces and transclusion) than clarity.
