Very poor article, created by @Alpha Quadrant: in 2011 - no sources, poorly written, non-notable. Prakshit Rangasamudram (talk) 12:55, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep Nomination seems to be based on the current state of the article, rather than on any view of the topic. Andy Dingley (talk) 13:06, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. I added some references. The term is used more in the United Kingdom and Ireland than in North America, but many British or Irish editors will have given or received a selection box (perhaps a non-chocolate one) as a gift. Original research: Eating the contents of a selection box at one sitting is bad for you. Eastmain (talkcontribs) 13:29, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. An everyday item in the UK, as common as bananas. As Andy said, unsourced does not mean unsourceable. Editors are required to do a WP:BEFORE search before nominating which clearly wasn't done in this case. And "poorly written" does not mean "non-notable". That is an entirely fixable issue per WP:ATD; If editing can improve the page, this should be done rather than deleting the page. SpinningSpark 15:01, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment. The nominator is mistaken that the article was created by Alpha Quadrant, he only created a redirect to an unrelated topic. The article was actually created by User:Macc190801 and much of the poor writing is due to subsequent additions, some of which I have now removed. SpinningSpark 17:56, 24 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
