Seemingly an R from move?

Hello! I was patrolling new pages, and I ended up stopping by a redirect that you created. I was wondering about the circumstances that led to its creation; Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction is a redirect that was created in one edit, and then later had an "R from move" template added in a second edit. Was the article at this title ever? I was hoping to figure out the context behind this. Thank you! Utopes (talk / cont) 03:36, 3 October 2023 (UTC)

@Utopes: Likely yes. There are quite a few page-move-warriors who were hellbent on renaming the articles unilaterally, using various iterations of the new name. Apart from the obvious, the second edit was also meant to thwart them from moving the page back to that specific name. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 08:54, 3 October 2023 (UTC)

Can you run it on Upendra Kushwaha Admantine123 (talk) 09:17, 4 October 2023 (UTC)

Have a look

At Tangkhul people and Tangkhul language edit history! I suspect sock farming. Any idea? I reported the first page in WP:RFPP but declined recently. Afterwards, multiple times of vandalism happened again. And I am afraid if I went on reverting those edits, I might get trapped in 3R violation. What shall I do? Any idea? Haoreima (talk) 04:33, 10 October 2023 (UTC)

@Haoreima: Do you suspect this guy? The IPs are obviously the same person from Delhi NCR region. I've restored both articles, adn yes the first one should have been PPed. Pinging Asutronesier. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 08:31, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
Pinging @Austronesier: also. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 08:32, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
As of now, I don't suspect him as he had once said in his talk page (unblock request) that he lives in Nagaland, though movement isn't impossible. But, the topic of articles in concern is still Naga-based topics. And the degree of aggression (engaging in edit warring) and non-cooperation (abstinence from discussing despite being warned) is somehow similar. Yesterday, I requested the first article for pp but got declined. So, I don't know whether it's suitable to request today once again or not. Btw, shall we request for an sp investigation for those new groups of vandals (independent from the Nagaland based already blocked one)? Haoreima (talk) 09:12, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
@Haoreima: Yes, the new user and the IPs can be tagged in an SPI. Though the IPs may or may not get blocked, the user will get indeffed if they find CU matches, but it is difficult on IPs, though behaviour (diffs) should convince the admins. File a case, let's see. As for the PP, I'll make a req for atleast this one. Apart from obvious vand, use of scientific raysism is a red flag. Tell me if some one revs my edits. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 09:28, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
I think I should wait for some time, before requesting sp investigation, so that I could gather more evidences. Haoreima (talk) 09:39, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
@Haoreima: Yes, that would be better. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 09:40, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
@Haoreima: Was able to get it blocked after a personal request to Materialscientist. Atleast, IPs can't cause problem for 20 days. One IP also got blocked. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 08:21, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
Thanks for your cooperation in fighting vandalism. :-) Haoreima (talk) 09:05, 11 October 2023 (UTC)

Page move Undo request

I recently moved the page from Bandna to Bandhna based on older sources that spelled it as "Bandhna." However, I now realize this is a mistake, as most recent sources use Bandna. Please revert my last two edits on the article, and I will be more careful with my contributions. MaxA-Matrix💬 talk 14:02, 26 October 2023 (UTC)

@MaxA-Matrix:  Done. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 14:07, 26 October 2023 (UTC)

No notification for revert

Hi, you manually reverted an edit of mine in Sriti Jha, I believe, and I did not get automatically notified of it since I wasn't watching the page. Manual reverts do not trigger a notification to the reverted editor, unlike an Undo, and not everyone watches the pages they edit. I would have appreciated a heads up, like a Talk Page message, and I'm sure other editors would too. Just thought I would let you know. Thank you for watching that article, and for your criticism.

I have reverted your revert though. But it was an Undo, so you should receive a notification of it, and I explained my rationale in the Edit Summary.  —I'llbeyourbeach (talk) 12:29, 28 October 2023 (UTC)

Why should I rollback/undo all of your edits, when I had to revert only a small part of it in accordance to MOS:GEOLINK, which gives a clear example of "[[Buffalo, New York]], United States". - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 12:42, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
The only thing I requested of you was to make sure you notified editors of their edits you reverted. If you're a rollbacker, I'm sure you know manual reverts don't trigger an automatic notification. And please ping me if you reply here.  —I'llbeyourbeach (talk) 17:10, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
@I'llbeyourbeach: Kinda tedious notifying each and every user of minor restorations/partial-reverts when you have a few hundred articles to go through in a typical day. I believe edit summaries are enough to make the other party understand. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 17:30, 28 October 2023 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for October 29

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Allu Arjun, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cinema.
