Find correct name The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere. The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.

Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).

Requested move 11 September 2015

The result of the move request was: split into two separate articles. Rasa Šataitė, there is broad agreement here that a split is the right thing to do and, as you seem to have a good knowledge of the topic area, it would be good if you could go ahead with it. As I see it, you should create a new article at Dona Branca (grape) (or Dona Branca grape, whichever you prefer) – if you use any content from this article to create it, just make sure you follow Wikipedia's copying within Wikipedia guideline and write in the edit summary something like "content copied from Doña Blanca". The once the content that should be at Dona Branca is removed from this article, we can either keep it where it is or move it to Síria, depending on which name is more commonly used. Doña Blanca → Dona Branca (grape) – According to the book "Wine Grapes - A complete guide to 1,368 vine varieties, including their origins and flavours" written by Jancis Robinson, Julia Harding and Dr. José Vouillamoz (pg. 608), Dona Branca is a low-acid Portuguese grape variety meanwhile the title Doña Blanca redirects to Síria which is also Portuguese descent however a completely different grape. Comment whatever the move, shouldn't the lead state Doña Blanca (Spanish "White Lady", also known as Portuguese Dona Branca)? Or if move the invert In ictu oculi (talk) 07:25, 12 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose - Since the article is a stub, I'll assume the grape variety is mostly Spanish. Therefore, the "ñ" is needed for accurate spelling and pronunciation. As for the other Dona Blanca, that woman must be disambiguated/distinguished as she doesn't seem more significant than the grape itself. --George Ho (talk) 18:42, 13 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment the article is a stub and it was my intention to expand it, however the ambiguity became my problem regarding the name. Again: Dona Branca is a low-acid Portuguese grape variety Doña Blanca is NOT a spanish name for Dona Branca but a synonym for a completely different grape variety called Síria. - Yes there should be two articles. Does split requires a new discussion? I'm still new here and still figuring things out.. I just thought that since this article is quite new and incomplete it would be easier to rename it and have a new article created for the other grape. I believe I could have also created two new pages for both grapes and redirect this article to Síria. Prefer to keep the ñ according to source use. Prefer Doña Blanca grape over parenthetical disambiguation, much like recent changes in naming of animal breeds, noting that sources always include explicit statement as to the thing being a grape, if not a wine grape. Most source use is in a firm context of grapes, or wine, and so it is to be expected that the sources minimize repetition of "grape". However, Wikipedia titles do not exist in the context of grapes or wine. Grape, or wine, is important in the title because the most important about the subject is that it is a wine grape variety.
