Talk:Barcelona Metro line 9

Merge

I think Line 10 is just a branch of L9 so not a line for itself and I think is better (as we have done in catalan wikipedia to merge Line 10 to Line 9) to merge both article. For example in London Underground lines their branches don't appear as an other aticle.--Vilarrubla (talk) 16:37, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Line 9 and 10 are basically the same line branched at the endings. They could share one article. Especially since they're both in construction. Axelv (talk) 12:05, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree because the lines are numbered different and they have different endings. They shared only 20/38 stations. Dr.emmettbrown (talk) 09:48, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Are numbered different but are coloured in the same colour while all the other lines have each one a colour. The term L9 it is used for the L9 branches (and common central part) and for the whole line with all the branches (L9+L10), that's why it is better to do it in one article because L9 term it is used for the whole line.--Vilarrubla (talk) 14:25, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

These are stil construction colours. Dr.emmettbrown (talk) 18:45, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, you are right and it could change. But it is true that every knows the L9 and L10 as the L9 because it is one line with two branches in the north-east and two in the south-west, you can read a lot of newspapers or the Generalitat web page, in all they talk about the Line 9 as the longest line of Barcelona, line in singular and they're talking about the L10 branch. So in two articles you can't talk in the L9 article as a whole.--Vilarrubla (talk) 14:49, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree because they have diferents colours and some stations. It's true that sometimes the L10 knowns as the L9 but TMB (Operator of the lines) treats as two separate lines. --by---->Javierito92 (Talk to me) 14:33, 3 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Depth

Some of that stations alongs this line, such as Collblanc must be incredibly deep. I lost count of the number of escalators. Would be interesting to have some more data on that, perhaps also comparing with other deep metros such as Moscow metro. -- Egil (talk) 13:28, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
