I am Sybil is an upcoming film directed by Mirrah Foulkes and written by Foulkes and Jen Silverman and is based on the 2011 book Sybil Exposed: The Extraordinary Story Behind the Famous Multiple Personality Case, by Debbie Nathan. The film is about Shirley Ardell Mason (Elle Fanning), who went by the pseudonym Sybil, being treated for then-known as multiple personality disorder by psychologist Cornelia Wilbur (Sarah Paulson).

Production
In June 2023, it was reported that Mirrah Foulkes would direct I Am Sybil, she co-wrote with Jen Silverman. Based on Debbie Nathan's 2011 book Sybil Exposed: The Extraordinary Story Behind the Famous Multiple Personality Case, it was produced by Jennifer Todd though her banner, and Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Annapurna Sriram and Lindsay Williams with Gotham Group.[1]
