Religion Userboxes

Why are there no userboxes for mainstream religions? There are lots for obscure ones like Zoroastrianism or Shamanism, even for Satanism, but not a single user box for Roman Catholicism, Lutheranism, Evangelicals, Anglicans, Mormons, Judaism, or Islam. Or are they just not on the religion page? But if that is the case, why not? I certainly feel like there should be userboxes for the obscure religions and atheism, but it seems to me that a box saying "This user is a Roman Catholic" would have a wider appeal than one saying "This user follows Voodoo". Could someone clarify this for me? DopplerRadioShow (talk) 07:33, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

Do you mean these by any chance? Please see the "religion page" and look at the very top... -- Skysmurf  (Talk) 08:00, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
Ah, thank you very much. That was very helpful. I should have checked that link. I just didn't make the connection between "Abrahamic Religions" and what it actually meant. Stupid mistake on my part. DopplerRadioShow (talk) 08:20, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

Edit count

Is there a userbox that automatically counts the number of edits you have done? And, more specifically, in the main namespace? --Jonund (talk) 19:39, 15 January 2012 (UTC)

From what I gather from various discussions around, that would require a MediaWiki tool that is not enable on En.Wikipedia. Achowat (talk) 22:44, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
You are right - there isn't, for technical reasons. - Ahunt (talk) 00:11, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

Do we really need this WikiProject?

Given the huge amounts of work that Wikipedia needs is a WikiProject dedicated to userboxes such a good idea? -- Alan Liefting (talk - contribs) 03:39, 21 March 2012 (UTC)

Sure it is. User boxes help create a sense of community coherence which contributes to people feeling like they belong here and therefore they stay and do the serious work needed on the encyclopedia articles. If working on Wikipedia was all deadly serious work it would be too dull for many people and we would probably lose contributors as a result. - Ahunt (talk) 11:11, 21 March 2012 (UTC)

LGBT section

Hi, noticed there's a religion section in the lifestyle bit but no LGBT repository. Can someone change this or point me to where it is if i missed it? Thanks, great Wikiproject! Jenova20 16:28, 18 April 2012 (UTC)

For some unknown reason it is at User:ISD/Userboxes/Sexuality - Ahunt (talk) 16:55, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
It's listd there per WP:GERMAN. Achowat (talk) 17:17, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for that. Just was wondering since i couldn't find it and it's not in the Wikiproject table with a lot of other categories. Jenova20 08:10, 19 April 2012 (UTC)

Userbox creator script

Hi everyone, I was just wondering, since the Userbox creator thingy, which is linked from the main userbox navbox, is in the userspace of a permanently blocked user, should it be moved elsewhere? --Eastlaw talk ⁄ contribs 09:16, 7 July 2012 (UTC)

Split subpages

Hello! I noticed that some of the userbox subpages were growing rather long, so I split Wikipedia:Userboxes/Wikipedia/Stats and tools into Wikipedia:Userboxes/Wikipedia/Personal statistics and Wikipedia:Userboxes/Wikipedia/Research and editing tools and Wikipedia:Userboxes/Wikipedia/Views and affiliations into Wikipedia:Userboxes/Wikipedia/WikiFauna and Wikipedia:Userboxes/Wikipedia/Participation. Are there any suggestions or comments?--SGCM (talk) 15:15, 8 August 2012 (UTC)

User:HullIntegrity

There seems to be some error on User:HullIntegrity userpage. It's being categorized into template categories -- 70.24.250.26 (talk) 08:48, 24 November 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for pointing that out -  Done - Ahunt (talk) 12:02, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
