Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Peru/Cleanup

Outdated

This list seems to be outdated. Are all this articles in need of cleanup? Or do they need wikification, or copyediting? We need to differentiate between all these. --Victor12 02:03, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is my first attempt at wikiing (?) so apologies if this is in the wrong spot. I made a couple of adjustments to 2001 southern Peru earthquake and Basilica Cathedral of Arequipa after trying to find out the scale of the earthquake. I was in Areqiupa at the time and remember being told that it was 8.1 on the Richter Scale, one of the related articles links to a site saying it was 8.4. Which is correct? Incidentally, the rumour mill over the week or so after the quake whipped up a few stories, one of which was that the government downgraded the quake to 7.9 so they would not have to spend so much on aid or some such nonsense. Anyone remember that? Weavehole (talk) 09:17, 30 September 2009 (UTC)weavehole[reply]
