I have done some rearranging of the information, with minor wording changes. Is that better now, or are there still some things you'd like clarified? We've been using the {{disambig-Chinese-char-title‎}} template rather than {{disambig}}. If this works for all our purposes, I think we should mention this in the project page.--Endroit (talk) 00:16, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

I've added a section called "Some useful templates", to suggest some templates specific to this taskforce:

• {{disambig-Chinese-char-title‎}}
• {{transliterationof}}

There are other general templates such as {{Wiktionary}} and {{Wiktionarypar}} (described elsewhere) which may also be useful.--Endroit (talk) 16:14, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

I don't agree with the idea to put {{transliterationof}} on Hayashi etc. to link to a disambiguation page per WP:NAMB. That is, those who type the Chinese characters would come from a disambiguation page and those who type transliterations do not need a disambiguation page titled with Chinese characters to find what they are searching. It is however useful when a certain Chinese title redirects to a primary topic and a disambiguation page is titled with "(disambiguation)", for example 九龍. These pages need looking at ASAP:

• 阿 (this one is up for speedy deletion)
• 尼 (currently a redirect to Nepal)

I don't believe this character (also meaning "Buddhist nun") should be used as a redirect to Nepal. Badagnani (talk) 02:10, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

FYI, 台湾省 , 臺灣省 , 台灣省 have come up at WP:RFD at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2010 April 28 ; there are two or more articles that are potential targets for these redirects, so it might be an idea to dabify them...
