Currently Needing work

If you're working on an article and you'd like to bring it to the attention of other editors, list it here, and/or discuss it at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Niger. There should be no more than 20 articles listed at one time. Put the newest at the top and delete from the bottom when the total is over 20.

Format: # [[Article title]], class. Details on what should be done (optional). ~~~~

  1. In Wikimedia Commons: Could someone rename the Category "Camels in Niger" into "Dromedaries in Niger"? (I don't know how to do that) NigerTZai (talk) 22:33, 15 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Mdou Moctar - just started this page - could do with some more input. Haminoon (talk) 07:55, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  3. Dr. Blofeld began adding commune stubs recently. Here's a Commune Wishlist of communes of Niger that are either capitals of Department or other notable rural communes, already redlinked in articles. T L Miles (talk) 01:49, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  4. Wikipedia 0.7 articles selected for Niger: These need to be cleaned up and stable versions tagged. See Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Niger for details. Hausa people also needs to be tagged as a Niger article for this. While many other could be suggested, this is due to be locked up by 20 October 2008, and so improving these selected articles will be work enough. I'll focus on expansion of Niamey, and tightening up Niger, Niger River and Tandja_Mamadou T L Miles (talk) 03:05, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  5. Niger, of course, should be the highest priority. The article is poor, mostly lifted from the US State Department. I'm trying to work on History of Niger and then integrate it in, but PLEASE dip in to the main article or any breakout articles at any time. I've requested semi-protection for the article, as most of my time spent on it is removing racist vandalism. T L Miles (talk) 15:25, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  6. Second Tuareg Rebellion, start. Current event: help it stay current and NPOV. T L Miles (talk) 19:47, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  7. Jihadist insurgency in Niger. Used to be 2021 Niger attacks but was moved to contextualize the article (there has been an Islamist insurrection in the country since 2009). The article was not changed, however, to reflect this move. I started some edits but it will need more work with help from others. Dunutubble (talk) (Contributions) 13:41, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
