Welcome to WikiProject Gambia. This WikiProject covers all articles about people, places, things, and events, associated with the nation now known as The Gambia. This includes the nation in its current form since 1965, the colonial existence of the nation under the British from the 1880s onwards, and the pre-colonial history that took the form of several nations. To participate, simply add your name to the project members page.

This WikiProject is a daughter project of WikiProject Africa. We encourage all editors to check them out, and contribute to their 10,000 Challenge too!

• To improve Wikipedia's coverage of The Gambia and to maintain neutrality and accuracy across these articles.
• To serve as a central point of discussion for issues relating to The Gambia on Wikipedia.
• To create and improve guidelines for articles about items relating to The Gambia.
• To improve and maintain the navigation aids for The Gambia-related topics on Wikipedia.
