About The Mountain Biking task force

Welcome to the Mountain Biking task force of WikiProject Cycling. This task force has been created to provide a location for centralized discussion and improvement of articles relating to Mountain Biking. If you would like to help, please inquire on the talk page and see the to-do list there.

Scope

This task force aims to provide a centralized location for the improvement and organization of articles about and related to mountain biking and downhill mountain biking. This includes everything in category Mountain biking, and any articles that should be categorized there but are not yet.

  • Mark with {{WikiProject Cycling|mtb=yes}} or/and categorize (see criteria) venues reletad to MTB. Use search term "mountain biking" and start digging. So far the top 1000 have been verified for categorization (not for templating).
  • Categorize mountain bikers into their correct MTB discipline
  • Edit/add to/improve existing articles.
  • Start red-linked articles.
  • Find mountain biking-related pages and include them by adding {{WikiProject Cycling|mtb=yes}} to their talk pages.
  • Recruit Wikipedians to join the task force.
  • Add appropriate infoboxes and navboxes to each page.
  • Upload pictures and include them in articles.
  • Place articles in appropriate categories.
