Her music combines jazz, hip hop, pop, and R&B, resulting in a sound all her own. Johnson seeks to disrupt the jazz genre, uplifting and inspiring people in the process. Though she views herself as a jazz artist, Johnson wants to collaborate with artists outside of the genre, and make her mark throughout the music world.
