Please delete these redirects. I know the page Zombies 3 used to be a draft created by Barbara Simak and a sandbox page by Amaury, but now it is a live Wikipedia article in the mainspace. 99.209.40.250 (talk) 15:07, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment: I merged the two discussions, which I hope will make this discussion easier. Regards, SONIC678 17:51, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep – Like it or not, when drafts are moved to Mainspace, redirects to the resulting articles are generally left in Draftspace. As for Amaury's user page, it's up to him if he wants to WP:U1 it. Note: The IP is incorrect – Amaury's version is the version of the article that was moved into Mainspace. --IJBall (contribstalk) 23:09, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per WP:RDRAFT. Randi Moth (talk) 10:32, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Seems like a non-notable soldier, not mentioned in the target article. PS. Maybe retarget to Band of Brothers (miniseries) which does mention him? Current target is a result of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Eugene Roe. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 14:39, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The English-language "New York" is a DAB page. There's no reason for this to be any different. Partofthemachine (talk, ) 01:03, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to New York. oknazevad (talk) 02:17, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to New York per oknazevad. InterstellarGamer12321 (talk) 18:33, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Just because there is no primary topic for "New York" doesn't mean there isn't one for "Nueva York". es:Nueva York being an article about the city not a disambiguation page and google results seem to back up the city being the primary topic for this specific search term. Thryduulf (talk) 23:08, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. I agree with Thryduulf, it would appear that the city—New York City—is the primary topic for this specific search term. One cultural reference to this point, when Barry Manilow sang of "Nueva York" he was referring specifically to New York City. Drdpw (talk) 14:59, 19 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. The Spanish-language use of Nueva York almost unambiguously refers to NYC, and the city is the WP:PTOPIC for the term. This is different than the American English situation where the state of New York is very frequently referred to by the term. For these reasons, the redirect should remain as-is. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 18:10, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete most, retarget Intern 2 to List of MyMusic characters#Intern 2/Flowchart -- Tavix (talk) 17:08, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Most of these redirects originate as valid redirects to sections within the article at the time, however the article has been halved in size as a form of removing WP:FANCRUFT since, and therefore there is no more mention of these topics on the article. Kristen Klessig and Klessig are similar in being from a person mentioned in the article in the past, but that section was removed in 2012 due to not having a valid source and never restored.

I support deletion, unless these sections get restored with reliable secondary sources showing notability. Randi Moth (talk) 20:33, 14 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No mention at the target, and I have no idea what this is trying to refer to. Therefore, I recommend deletion. Veverve (talk) 09:41, 1 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Disambiguate according to this [1]. (Old Testament, New Testament, Intertestamental works, and New Testament Apocrypha. Carpimaps (talk) 12:32, 1 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    • That makes sense, as the Society of Biblical Literature exists for "academic study of the Bible and related ancient literature". – Fayenatic London 22:12, 1 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    • That's not disambiguation, that's explaining what the term means, which seems consistent with "A biblical canon is a set of texts which a particular Jewish or Christian religious community regards as part of the Bible." Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 18:26, 2 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. The current situation is satisfactory. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 18:26, 2 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • MakatusiTonga  (talk · links · history · stats)     [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]

I can find absolutely nothing on the internet for the term Makatusi outside of a website that seems to list it as an alternate name for Tonga from compiling wikipedia redirects to a page. The only other use of the word on the internet I can find outside of being in someone's name is in a wikimedia incubator project for the Thao language; however, I cannot find anything stating this is the name of Tonga in Thao. It seems this would be best deleted, unless a connection can be shown. TartarTorte 00:16, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom unless a connection is found between Makatusi and Tonga. InterstellarGamer12321 (talk) 07:23, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • I was also unable to find a connection. Putting Makatusi into google translate without specifying a language, it says it is Cebuano for "learnable" or "interesting". If it is actually Thao for Tonga, I'd still say we can safely delete given the unlikeliness that a language of 4 native speakers in Taiwan has any connection to Tonga. It's also possible that this word is related to something else on Tonga (disambiguation). But without any connection, delete. A7V2 (talk) 23:38, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    • Comment - looking at the creator's edits, I think this is a joke redirect relating to Makasini Richter. A7V2 (talk) 23:43, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I can find absolutely nothing for this meaning random. There's no explanation either as to the connection in the edit summary for the creation of the redirect. Delete unless a connection can be found. TartarTorte 00:07, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete confusing at best. No useful links in Google search as well. --Lenticel (talk) 13:49, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - looking at the creator's edits, I'd assume this is a joke redirect, presumably relating to Mark Taufua. A7V2 (talk) 23:47, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
