Implausible search term. Neither Rodrigo nor any sources anywhere have ever mentioned a self-titled album. – DarkGlow • 22:25, 25 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete May cause confusion. There is no evidence the album is ever referred by her name. Would cause even more confusion if she releases another album. Aqua3993 (talk) 02:38, 26 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Pre-1980 Southern Hemisphere tropical cyclone seasons

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to List of Southern Hemisphere tropical cyclone seasons. signed, Rosguill talk 21:14, 1 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This redirect has no incoming links; it reflects a previous structure of the Southern Hemisphere cyclone articles which has since been revised, so it no longer has any purpose. Colonies Chris (talk) 15:37, 18 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - the purpose it serves is redirecting incoming external links to the old title, of which there are clearly some based on pageviews. There has been content under this title for 14 years, and it could probably be tagged {{R from move}}. Ivanvector's squirrel (trees/nuts) 16:01, 18 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please clarify - what do you mean by "incoming external links"? Where are these coming from? There are no internal links because those articles are now organised by trpocal cyclone basin and season (year–year) from 1950 onwards, so "Pre-1980" is not a useful grouping. And it's misleading because it redirects to Australian_region_tropical_cyclone#Seasons, and so disregards the other two tropical cyclone basins in the Southern Hemisphere. Colonies Chris (talk) 16:26, 18 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, I can try. The redirect has a couple dozen pageviews in the 2-3 months before the nomination (there's always a burst of activity when a page is nominated so we look back from before that date), which means that someone, somewhere, is clicking on a link to that page. Since we've eliminated all the internal links, that link must be on an external site, most likely a Wikipedia mirror. We can't fix links that are not on Wikipedia, so we keep the redirects so that readers on another site looking for information here will find the info they're looking for. I see your point about the geographic change, though. I don't have time to consider it right now but I'll reply later. Ivanvector's squirrel (trees/nuts) 16:57, 18 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to List of Southern Hemisphere tropical cyclone seasons which appears to be the closest match we have (although that page could be usefully significantly expanded). Per Ivanvector it is important that we maintain this as a blue link as it is likely that people will continue to follow links to this page. Thryduulf (talk) 17:03, 18 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned in target article. Discussed at Rom the Space Knight, List of alien races in DC Comics#G, and List of alien races in Marvel Comics#G. Galador is a one-entry dab page. Not sure what the best target is, as I'm not familiar with the comics usages. Hog Farm Talk 14:43, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete: Not mentioned; nor, I think, are we going to bother to mention Galador or his -ian adjective at Gondor. He was the first prince of Dol Amroth, which now doesn't have its own article, so we're into a redirect to a redirect to a redirect for this adjectival form. • Retarget to Galador, which is not a one-entry dab. Rom the Space Knight is linked from there and describes Galadorians in that universe, and links could be made to both of the comics lists. "Galadorian" doesn't appear in the Gondor article, but it's linked from the dab anyway so readers could still find info they're looking for from there. Delete. When Mahindra took over Ssangyong in 2010, a few automotive bloggers speculated that Mahindra would sell the Chairman under their own name. It was never proposed by Mahindra themselves, no such cars were ever sold, this redirect gives credence to what was pure guesswork at best.  Mr.choppers | ✎  13:08, 25 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The target article does not contain a tectonic summary of the entirety of Qinghai, and only includes info that is relevant to the 2010 Yushu quake. I know there is an article in the history but this redirect existing doesn't help readers. They will get taken to a page where there is no relevant info. • Speedy delete: Typo in title. No need for this. CeeGee 08:32, 25 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Tag it as {{R from typo}} (done). A minor vowel error is precisely the kind of thing that should redirect (particularly in non-English languages); after all, you created the article, and even made the same error yourself. Obviously easily done! ——Serial 09:28, 25 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@CeeGee: I beg your pardon? Are you accusing Serial Number 54129 and Thryduulf of being the same person? -- Tamzin (she/they) | o toki tawa mi. 09:26, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Besides the very odd allegation, I think you don't understand the purpose of redirects. Is it not reasonable that someone would make the same speling error as you did in creating this redirect? J947messageedits 09:48, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • I see that I misread the signatures. Sorry abot that, I apologize. However, also your argument is not understandable. Do we keep all the mistyped redirects for future use even when they are junk? CeeGee 09:57, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The question is how plausible a typo is. Something like FaTiH CeLiK, I would definitely say to delete, because no one's going to type that in. But for simple typos, like mixing up 'i' and 'ı', yes, we tend to keep those. I'm more conservative than J947 in what I consider "plausible", and he and I often disagree when it comes to typo redirects, but in this case I see this as an extremely plausible typo, of the sort we keep all the time. You can take a look at Category:Redirects from misspellings if you want to see how many of these we have. You might also want to take a look at the essay WP:CHEAP, which guides a lot of how redirects are treated. -- Tamzin (she/they) | o toki tawa mi. 10:09, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thank you for your time explaining your POW and for the hints. Please consider that the character "ı" is in Turkish language and does not exist on English language keyboards. So there will be no possibility to type in the misspelled words for English-speaking people. Turks would never type the wrong words because they know the correct word. That is the two redirects are useless. CeeGee 11:38, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
