The result of the discussion was disambiguate at Orthodox Catholic Church, and retarget Orthodox Church (Chalcedonian) to Chalcedonian Christianity. (non-admin closure) feminist (talk) 13:15, 28 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Both the Western Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church continued to consider themselves uniquely orthodox and catholic. Oriental Orthodox Churches consider themselves orthodox and catholic too and use this adjectives a lot. Most historians refer to the State church of the Roman Empire as the catholic church or the orthodox church. Therefore the target of these redirects should be changed. I suggest creating an disambiguation page, and redirecting first three links there. Orthodox Church (Chalcedonian) can have as a target Chalcedonian Christianity (because it should not include Oriental Orthodox Churches which belongs to Non-Chalcedonian Christianity) Heanor (talk) 19:08, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with creating the disambiguation page. Santacruz Please ping me! 19:16, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Disambiguate per nom. Eastern Orthodox Church doesn't have the monopoly on orthodoxy. Chumpih. (talk) 19:43, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Disambiguate on the basis that Orthodox Catholic can mean any number of Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, Eastern Catholic, or "non-canonical" bodies. ~ Pbritti (talk) 21:00, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Disambiguate I was corrected below disagree With first two, EO Churches and Eastern Catholicism are different. Signed, I Am Chaos (talk) 22:30, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@I Am Chaos:, "Orthodox Catholic" does not mean the same thing as "Eastern Catholicism". "Orthodox Catholic Church" is the official title of the "Eastern Orthodox Church". Eastern Catholic Churches aren't called "Orthodox Catholic".--Ermenrich (talk) 00:33, 21 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. Hog Farm Talk 18:36, 27 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Non-synonymous. Western colonialism redirects to History of colonialism, so that's a possible target, but I don't believe it is plausible either. Sdrqaz (talk) 13:16, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. This isn't plausible, nor are there any sources showing one is a common or known usage of the other (exclusive usage or otherwise). It's possible this this may become its own article down the road of there are reliable sources on it, or may be a redirect to a plausible target, but delete for now. Singularity42 (talk) 14:05, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Singularity42 Thank you, if you have reliable sources for the topic of Western supremacy I could contribute to a future article. Magonz (talk) 15:00, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete: As an entirely implausible redirect. Aasim (talk) 21:52, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Currently not used in articlespace, and seems to be a somewhat problematic shortcut, as so far as I can tell, all of the links for this are meant to refer to the WP:Featured list process. Ambiguous, and doesn't seem to be used in its current meaning; if I'm reading the old deletion/TFD logs right, it looks like it's use for featured-list related stuff was deprecated when the article history templates came around.
