  • Hello, Wikipedia!Hello  (talk · links · history · stats)     [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]

I'm not really seeing how this would be a useful redirect. I would suggest deletion. signed, Rosguill talk 19:30, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. I also don't see any plausible uses for this redirect, not even as an analogy to Hello world (in which case one could argue to delete as a test). ComplexRational (talk) 23:07, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nanny (comics)

Delete. Article very recently voted to be deleted at AfD. Term is generic and can apply to any number of characters who have been nannies, not specifically an X-men villain. Killer Moff- ill advisedly sticking his nose in since 2011 (talk) 16:39, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • I don't have a dog in this discussion, but a check shows Killer Moff's anticipation that List of X-Men enemies was going to be deleted was premature. Do you have another reason to suggest deletion? Geo Swan (talk) 18:45, 28 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I was talking about the original Nanny (comics) article being deleted before being recreated as a redirect. There was no thought put into whether this was appropriate, and I maintain Nanny is a generic term, and therefore a redirect to a specific non-notable character is inappropriate. --Killer Moff- ill advisedly sticking his nose in since 2011 (talk) 23:01, 28 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was speedy delete per WP:G6. -- Tavix (talk) 13:31, 24 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Loyalty program2Loyalty program  (talk · links · history · stats)     [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]

Delete. This redirect is the vestige of a page move on 21 October 2011, and so is quite old. However, since the start of 2015 it has only had 33 page views, it's not linked from anywhere, and is not useful for a search. Ineligible for WP:G6. 185.62.130.234 (talk) 11:22, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete as an entirely unuseful redirect created from a temporary page move. The target article was at this title for only ten minutes eight years ago, so it's very unlikely that any external links to the redirect exist. I would almost argue that this does meet G6. Geolodus (talk) 16:10, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Speedy delete. I'd argue that this is uncontroversial maintenance (only a temporary title during a move), so G6 would apply. ComplexRational (talk) 23:04, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Death of John McCarthy

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. MBisanz talk 20:11, 1 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I stumbled on this from the "Deaths by person in the United States" category. Seems like an unlikely redirect as the John McCarthy article barely mentions his death. It certainly doesn't seem notable enough to justify this redirect page. Greyjoy talk 05:33, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete or disambiguate. John McCarthy is a disambiguation page, so this term is obviously ambiguous as well. Disambiguation would be possible, but I don't know if it would be worthwhile, since most articles about deceased John McCarthies only make (at best) passing mentions on their deaths. They were strictly just page moves. We moved the page due to the changing title. You can delete the redirects, as the film has a new title. Cardei012597 (talk) 00:16, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Delete all as they re just redirects left from page moves and are no longer necessary nor notable for the given films. Trailblazer101 (talk) 00:36, 22 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
