Comment: Although I would personally like to see this redirect (I created) kept, I am not sure on second thought whether or not it should be. The article it redirects to documents the premiership of Margaret Thatcher who led her country during the 1980s. Since we already have 1980s in the United States, I thought it would be fine to create this redirect as well. Since Timeline of British history does not specifically document historical events in the same way that Timeline of United States history does, I believed that Premiership of Margaret Thatcher was the next best bet. --Neveselbert 20:46, 12 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Template:R from name

There's an WP:XY problem here. There's several WP:RCAT templates that deal with names, so it doesn't make sense why someone chose one of them to redirect this to. I just fixed the links to it. There were two and they were both rcatted incorrectly (which shows the danger of this redirect). -- Tavix (talk) 17:26, 12 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - This kind of template redirect is a problem in general. We really need to be using the correct template directly. MSJapan (talk) 19:14, 12 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom & because "name" doesn't even necessarily mean "human name" (c.f. {{R from alternative name}}). 58.176.246.42 (talk) 03:57, 18 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Victorian. Note that there was merge history to Victorian era, so I've first moved the existing title to Victorian era (Great Britain) to preserve that history. --BDD (talk) 16:23, 19 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Retarget to Victorian morality: it simply looks more "correct" to me... The Traditionalist (talk) 15:53, 12 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - No WP:PRIMARY. Google shows a mixture of "Victorian era", "Victorian period", "Victorian America", "Victorian Age", "Victorian morality", and that's just the first ten hits, the top two of which are WP, so I'm not even convinced the redir is a term in use. The pages it links to also seem to be misusing the term when it should really be one of the more specific titles. MSJapan (talk) 19:31, 12 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to Victorian (a disambig) per MSJapan's findings (which I also get). I don't think that a separate dab page will add anything, but if others do then I'll go along with that. Redirecting to a dab page will also be a cue for the incoming links to be fixed - a WP:REDLINK would encourage the creation of an article here, which we don't want as the term is ambiguous. Thryduulf (talk) 21:40, 12 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget per Thryduulf. ---- Patar knight - chat/contributions 15:33, 13 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I oppose the reasoning of both MSJapan and Thryduulf and I continue to support my original proposal.--The Traditionalist (talk) 16:13, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget per Thryduulf. MSJapan's assessment is correct; this term has been used to describe a number of different things, including the Victorian era, Victorian morality, Victorian aesthetics, etc. I think a DAB page will best resolve any potential confusion among readers. -- Notecardforfree (talk) 18:52, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Saving Detroit's DIA and worker pensions

The result of the discussion was delete both.---- Patar knight - chat/contributions 03:51, 19 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Totally unlikely search term. As written, it is overly general in scope multiple ways, and possibly has POV implication. Has never been the location of the article and no inbound links (seems only to be used by creator, and then quickly disputed by other editors?). DMacks (talk) 15:26, 12 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Also Saving detroit's DIA and worker pensions, which has same target and issues, but also incorrect capitalization (something doesn't matter for searchers if there were to be any, etc.). DMacks (talk) 15:30, 12 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete both - I'm not sure why this would be a valid search term. MSJapan (talk) 16:17, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete both - The wording is clunky, and I don't think these really are helpful. CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 21:31, 16 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete both slogan or phrase not mentioned in target article. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 22:30, 16 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have just moved this article to Jajja because it relates to a village and has absolutely nothing to do with the Rajput caste/tribe. As such, even if external links do exist, it is a completely misleading redirect. Sitush (talk) 05:44, 12 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
