I speedied this one before as an attack page, which was declined. After the flaming got worse, another editor decided to redirect. I don't think this redirect is of any use to Wikipedia. QVVERTYVS (hm?) 19:01, 25 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This redirect is apparently intended to be humorous; it's 'porn' spelt backwards. However, nothing links to it and I can't imagine it being useful in any way, and Wikipedia has no place for humour in any case, so I would like to see it deleted. I originally tagged it for speedy deletion but it's been here since 2010, so I thought I'd list it at redirects for discussion instead. Cathfolant (talk) 21:30, 15 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment Google gives 213000 results for 'nrop'. From a cursory glance at them it appears to be used sometimes to mean 'porn'; one site, however, seems to use it to mean the opposite of porn [1]. This could be considered a useful redirect based on the google searches, but again, nothing links here, and this variation on the word 'porn' may not be notable enough for inclusion. Delete. I take exception with the nom's exceptional remark about Wikipedia excepting humour [cis]. (Perhaps we should can all of the {{Humorous essays}}?) Anyways, before this my opinion turns into an entire essay, let's just say that unless somebody plans to read Wikipedia facing the opposite direction of their computer screen by the use of a mirror, this redirect is as useless as a wart on a porn star's as...k me no questions, I'll tell you no lies. – Paine Ellsworth CLIMAX! 23:36, 28 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete Not even an accurate translation of Al-Shabaab, judging from Al-Shabaab (militant group), and I don't see any red links turning blue in the intended way from this one. Same goes for the redirect proposed by BDD. QVVERTYVS (hm?) 20:11, 25 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep as is. and retarget per what BDD said. Any reason to party. In the first section of the target, titled Name, it states, "Al-Shabaab is also known as Ash-Shabaab, Hizbul Shabaab (Arabic: "Party of the Youth"),[21]" so I do not understand the problem with this redirect.
