Delete as an improbable search term due to the disambiguation qualifier. Tavix |  Talk  23:58, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep what is improbable about that disambiguator? It's exactly the sort of title that someone familiar with Wikipedia's parenthetical disambiguation naming scheme would look up. If they use the search box they'll also find it in the dropdown box suggestions box. It has been getting between 18 and 40 hits every month since at least September (I haven't looked further back than that) which shows that it is actually used. The target article shows that redirect is not misleading, and I'm not aware of it doing any other harm. So there is no reason to delete the redirect. Thryduulf (talk) 01:34, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Redirects are cheap. This provides info that someone may actually be looking for, trying to find out what the zip code for a particular place is. I actually wish there were such redirects for all zip codes whenever possible, but as far as I know, I am the only one who has tried to create them, and I cannot create tens of thousands of zip code redirects myself. I actually believe that at least some zip codes have the potential to have articles, though I haven't gotten into that yet. Hellno2 (talk) 17:29, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This seems like an unplausible thing to type, especially becuase the parenthese is connected to the word. Inks.LWC (talk) 05:21, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. But please: The singular is parenthesis, with an "i". Michael Hardy (talk) 17:42, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Delete, I merged it all to Mary, no reason to have both DAB pages, then created the redirect, but though it is an implausible search term CTJF83 02:06, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep, firstly this maintains the attribution history (see Wikipedia:Merge and delete); secondly it's a useful search term in it's own right - I often navigate directly to disambiguation pages where I suspect what I'm looking for is not the primary topic but when I don't know what the title is (and it's been getting 150-200 hits per month). Equally importantly we normally keep these redirects as they allow intentional linking, see {{R to disambiguation page}} for the standard template we use to categorise them. Thryduulf (talk) 03:08, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
    • Well it might only get hits cause it was a redirect/had different dab terms...but your other point of searching the DAB page intentional to find what you are looking for is a good point...CTJF83 12:26, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep WP:INTDABLINK, WP:MAD. 65.94.45.185 (talk) 06:03, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
