  Keeping to preserve the attribution history only makes sense if the history is still under the old title. Since this page was moved using the rename feature, there are no content edits in the redirect's history and therefore no attribution history is lost if the redirect is deleted.       • I grant there may be different perspectives on whether this is a "bug" or a "feature." In my book, conflating metadata (namespace) with data (title) is a categorical error, and I don't make much distinction between errors of implementation and errors of design.
