MICROS~1 → Microsoft

The result of the debate was delete. WjBscribe 05:17, 8 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Imitation of old 8.3 file names. No links and not a likely search. Also I am adding Micros~1 to this debate meshach 21:02, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Cute joke but it's time to delete. Rossami (talk) 22:49, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete this disparagment. This is listed in the Jargon File as a common term of disparagement for Microsoft, which would make it a likely search term. However, a number of web searches show that it's not especially common at present, likely because the file system limitation it's poking fun at is long gone. There's no need to preserve these if they won't be searched for. Gavia immer (talk) 18:20, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Speedy/snowball as a joke, potentially offensive. --Thinboy00 @177, i.e. 03:14, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Speedy delete as nonsense redirect. My computer says "MICRO~12" ... 132.205.99.122 (talk) 20:09, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The above is preserved as the archive of an RfD nomination. Please do not modify it.
