Redirects to a non-existent article --Malevious Userpage •Talk Page• Contributions 22:21, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have tagged the page for speedy deletion under R1. In the future it would be avisable to use that as there is no need for a RFD to do so. --64.229.74.28 00:16, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Jubei Sekishusai Yagyu → Yagyū Jūbei Mitsuyoshi

The result of the debate was Deleted. -- JLaTondre 18:04, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect name. Jubei and Sekishusai are titles for Yagyū "Jūbei" Mitsuyoshi and his grandfather Yagyū "Sekishusai" Muneyoshi, respectively. Tenga 07:20, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WP:ADSWP:SPAM

The result of the debate was Kept. -- JLaTondre 18:06, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This redirects to WP:SPAM. I don't even know what ADS stands for, I first came across it being used as a reason to delete an article. I think this redirect should be deleted, and if people want to delete things for being spam, they should use WP:SPAM as it is a lot clearer what this means. Catchpole 11:03, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. ADS means ads/"advertisements masquerading as articles". Friendlier than "SPAM" which, like "vanity" and "VAIN", should probably be avoided. It redirects to Wikipedia:Spam, not WP:SPAM. -- Jeandré, 2006-12-10t13:12z
  • Keep a valid synonym for the page. Spam and ads are the same thing (sort of) and spam is not a universal term, while "advertisement" is. Koweja 00:35, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep When a paragraph or article singles out a single company, organization, or business, and reads like an advertisement (whether it was intentional or not), it should be labeled WP:ADS. "SPAM" seems to denote a more deliberate effort to spread commercial material across multiple articles, where none may have been intended. Labeling an edit as "SPAM" could appear to be accusatory. "ADS" still assumes good faith. - Justin 07:34, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Appears to be a potential term used by those unfamiliar with the WP:SPAM redirect. Canadian-Bacon 23:27, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

$599US Dollars → Playstation 3

Many items can be prices at $599 U.S. dollars. The price of PS3 may drop in the future. And it's a double redirect!! (not that it has any weight in this debate) ChoChoPK (球球PK) (talk | contrib) 14:43, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete; not a useful target and no better target is likely to exist. Gavia immer (u|t|c) 18:15, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete $599 US Dollars is the actual phrase used by the Sony rep when the PS3 was announced at E3. That said, it is only used on message boards by people mocking Sony. This is in essence an attack page, and since I doubt anyone is going to search Wikipedia for it not knowing the contenxt, get rid of it. Koweja 00:32, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

2 Bill → United States two-dollar bill

The result of the debate was Deleted. -- JLaTondre 18:06, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"2 Bill" has no meaning. There are close to 200 currencies in the world. And does it mean 2 pieces of bills? ChoChoPK (球球PK) (talk | contrib) 15:34, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
