• Not actually in the Public Domain as was indicated by the uploaded. The NBC peacock is actually a registered and protected trademarked in the U.S. and other countries owned by NBCUniversal and therefore permission will probably need to be given before it can be used on Wikipedia. In some countries, the copyright to a work for hire belongs to the employer. If the uploader is from one of those countries, then OTRS from the employer is presumably needed.
