Draft:List of the prehistoric life of SpainĀ (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

One of many pages that are a massive database dumps of everything mentioned in the linked database way at the bottom. There are so many redlinks there is no way this will get to mainspace in our lifetime. When nominated G13 the creator promptly requests a refund yet these pages come up for G13 regularly. Redelete this one and only allow WP:REFUND when one of them gets into mainspace and is shown to be notable and viable as a page. In the mean time if no edits in 6 months it gets deleted and stays there. Legacypac (talk) 03:11, 14 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I've been userfying these for a long time. You "scooped" this article in between its restoration and my ability to do so. Abyssal (talk) 12:34, 14 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
There are 19 more sitting on Wikipedia:Database reports/Stale drafts where someone will nominate and deleted them. We are running a bit of a backlog right now on stale drafts. Yours are auch large collections of redlinks they make my computer lag. Legacypac (talk) 18:48, 14 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Many of these articles are too long in their current form, but have not yet been split (by geological era) to make their maintenance and upkeep easier. They would be split up before going live. And the presence of redlinks in a list is not and has never been grounds for deletion especially when all genera and species are considered inherently notable per policy. And I've userfied the current crop of stale drafts. Abyssal (talk) 22:16, 14 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - Neither useful in draft space nor user space. Just a mess. Put this into the abyss. Robert McClenon (talk) 20:32, 14 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It's not appropriate to dictate to other users what do with their own rule-abiding userspace activities. Abyssal (talk) 22:16, 14 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Userfy. (Already userfied). Advise Abyssal of WP:DUD, draftspace presents zero advantages over userspace for established Wikipedians. Pages like this are perfectly welcome in userspace. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 02:04, 15 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I definitely had to learn that one the hard way. Abyssal (talk) 02:11, 15 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
