This is a cropped and mirrored version of this image [1], which was previously published online in 2017 by a firm apparently hired by FSU to create this labyrinth path. (Context) It is doubtful that it is the uploader's own work as tagged. SilverLocust 💬 02:13, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - You can even see the rectangular patch on the image where a person in the original image has been removed in this derivative work. -- Whpq (talk) 04:36, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Claimed to be PD due to expired copyright, there is no information provided about the photo to make such a determination. Note that the file was originally uploaded as non-free with a different source. The current given source URL is not the actual URL where this image was taken from. It was changed along with the license change by User:McVahl. Whpq (talk) 03:59, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The illustrations are not from 1901, but rather from a collection published in 1980s, Cuentos de Pombo pintados por Lorenzo Jaramillo [2]. The artist, es:Lorenzo Jaramillo, died in 1992. This image was nominated for speedy deletion by User:TheImaCow as an unambiguous copyright violation of this stock photo. I declined the speedy deletion as the images are not exactly the same. Our image has a Hilton logo at the top of the building whereas the Alamy image has no logo there, but a blotch in the image at that location indicates with was photoshopped out. Our image also has more of the water in frame at the bottom. The lighting pattern in the windows and other elements make it clear both images are derived from the same source. Stock photo agencies have been known to swipe images an claim them as their own but the Alamy image is a higher resolution so they did not just copy from Wikipedia. This image is not in use and given the unclear license validity, the image should be deleted. Whpq (talk) 15:09, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"FBMD..." string in metadata indicates this is a Facebook image. Source and evidence of permission are needed. Ixfd64 (talk) 20:07, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. Here is the image on Facebook from a subunit of the university in 2016: [3]. Same metadata. SilverLocust 💬 00:45, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
