No permission, as the OTRS ticket number provided does not relate to or mention this image. No EXIF data. Uploader blocked for sockpuppetry. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 09:12, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • There is actually minimal EXIF. There's a "special instruction" field which begins with "FBMD" indicating that the image comes from some unknown place on Facebook. --Stefan2 (talk) 11:09, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Whilst the photo may be own work, there's no information concerning the artist/sculptor of the artwork shown as the subject. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 09:41, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Note – And the artwork in question seems clearly to be a derivative work from the Tim Curry costume and makeup from Legend (1985 film). — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 20:28, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The given permission at [1] is just "Wikipedia only" and not completely free, as required for a valid upload. Also, the exact license type is not specified in the source and the original source/photographer is unclear (photoshopped image). GermanJoe (talk) 12:03, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The statement of permission is "You are free to download and propagate these images. Click on the image to get a high-resolution copy, and enjoy!!!" This statement of permission is insufficient because it does not cover derivative works (even on an optimistic reading of it that assumes that "propagate" includes the right to sublicense your rights). File:Ohatsu and Tokube statue at Tsuyunoten Shrine.jpg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by 朝彦 (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

Photo of a Japanese statue created in 2004. (There is no freedom of panorama for works of art in Japan.) The statue depicts a scene from The Love Suicides at Sonezaki, an 18th century play. The image is used both in The Love Suicides at Sonezaki and in Love. The latter is so obviously not acceptable it's not worth discussing. In the former, it's more debatable. The statue itself is a significant landmark - although the article doesn't actually discuss the statue. Apparently, people make pilgrimages to the statue to pray for the (fictional?) couple. If there were an article about Tsuyunoten Shrine or the statue itself, then this would be legitimate fair use. But as it is, it's just being used decoratively in an article about a play and should be deleted. B (talk) 17:36, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

3D photo of a very simple book cover for Unnatural Death (novel). Could be replaced with a more-free 2D scan of the cover. (It's a UK book, so it probably can't be uploaded to Commons, but in the US, this book cover would be PD-ineligible if we could get an image of the first edition cover.)
