Copyright investigations (manual article tagging)
  • Aron Gaudet (history · last edit) from http://web.archive.org/web/20090207054029/http://thewaywegetbymovie.com/crew/ - there is an OTRS notice, never completed.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 00:04, 15 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • New Victoria Theatre (Bradford) (history · last edit) from http://www.kingsdr.demon.co.uk/cinemas/newvic.htm and http://www.kingsdr.demon.co.uk/cinemas/newvi2.htm. Foundational copyvio—mainly straight copy/paste, with some half-hearted attempts at rewording. Deor (talk) 13:53, 15 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Article redirected to a non-infringing target. --Dpmuk (talk) 02:22, 26 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Reckless Love (history · last edit) from https://www.facebook.com/pages/Reckless-Love/277008412320026?sk=info. This article has a strange history: deleted on 18 May 2010; recreated on 1 November 2010; and tagged by User:MikeWazowski for copyvio investigation on 8 December 2011. He appears not to have have reported it here, however, so I am doing so now. I'm not clear whether the notability concerns leading to the previous deletion are properly addressed or not, so this may need admin attention in any case. (The admin who deleted it in May 2010 is no longer an admin and has declined to take a view.) Thanks. --Stfg (talk) 14:49, 15 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Article cleaned by investigator or others. No remaining infringement. I've reverted the history section to an old version that appears to be clean. Personally I don't think it's a G4 as the information on the new albums and singles means it's no longer substantially the same. --Dpmuk (talk) 00:37, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Article cleaned by investigator or others. No remaining infringement. I don't have easy access to the DNB text right now, but I've stubbed it. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 01:26, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Occupy Wall Street (history · last edit) http://www.vancourier.com/Adbusters+sparks+Wall+Street+protest/5466332/story.html#ixzz1lqmM1xug. The information had a larger chunk of text from the source but was just changed by another editor who feels that what is left is standard paraphrasing in regards to the copy paste of "a growing disparity in wealth." Hopefully if this is acceptable we can get clarification and move on.--Amadscientist (talk) 21:56, 15 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • There's no section tagged on this article. Are there outstanding concerns? --Moonriddengirl (talk) 01:30, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Article cleaned by investigator or others. No remaining infringement. Not much of the copying was left, though. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 01:45, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Zellige morocco (history · last edit) from http://www.zellige.ma/zellij-moroccan.html, http://www.zellige.ma/The%20raw%20material_zellige.html. DpmukBOT (talk) 00:02, 16 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If proven, please just redirect to Zellige. Johnbod (talk) 02:54, 18 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Article redirected to a non-infringing target. User was not notified but given that this could've been a G12 (or possibly even an A10) and the user has not edited since December I've gone ahead and redirected anyway. Will drop user a note on the off chance they return. --Dpmuk (talk) 02:32, 26 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • No source found; copy-paste tag removed and cv-unsure tag placed at article talk. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:57, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Article cleaned by investigator or others. No remaining infringement. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:59, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Prescot Cables F.C. (history · last edit) from http://www.prescotcables.co.uk/PrescotCablesClubHistory1.html. Copy paste. DpmukBOT (talk) 00:02, 16 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'm thinking backwards copy but would like a second pair of eyes. When some of the questionable text was introduced in one edit it included the word "Remarkably" which was later removed. This word is not present on the apparent source. Likewise this edit introduced some of the text present and some extra text which was later removed. Again this later text is not present at the 'source'. Finally the sentence "In season 2004-2005, they started playing in the Northern Premier League Premier Division, their highest ever flight in football" uses they and their which seems a strange way to refer to ones own organisation. Taken together I'm thinking backwards copy but given the messy history, lack of strong evidence and the official looking nature of the 'source' I'd like a second opinion. Dpmuk (talk) 04:37, 26 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like a backwards copy to me. "The following two seasons they were runners-up. In the F.A. Cup too the Cables shined" is in our text at introduction, but "shined" was corrected to "shone" in this edit. It says "shone" in the external source. In the second edit by the contributor who added the text, he included the word "drastically" ([1]); this is in the external source, as is content he added here. I'll do the tags and link to this discussion. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:31, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • StarQuest Online (history · last edit) with no source given. Copy paste. DpmukBOT (talk) 00:02, 16 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Article cleaned by investigator or others. No remaining infringement. The source postdates, but is official. Very likely the copy was taken from promotional materials by the publisher. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:38, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
