The result was redirect to Ebola virus epidemic in West Africa#United Kingdom. I'm not sure this will prove to be the ultimately best redirect, but it's a way to start out. What is clear is that it should not be a separate article. DGG ( talk ) 04:04, 23 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect to Ebola virus epidemic in West Africa#United Kingdom. It's possible BLP1E does not apply because Pooley has made public statements and thus may not be low-profile, but even then, WP:BIO1E applies. He is the second (not even first!) British person to develop Ebola, and is not particularly notable past that. His case is already discussed on the main article and in ZMapp#Use in humans during 2014 Ebola outbreak. Keep The Guardian article is certainly substantial coverage, and that fact that he is planning to go back to Africa to continue his work shows that he is more than just a guy that got sick. BayShrimp (talk) 22:02, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect. Obviously, this person is notable for only one thing, but even in the article's description of catching Ebola, coverage of his story in the article is weak. Comment, just so folks know, there are articles like List of Ebola patients and Wikipedia:Healthcare workers contracting ebola (I know, wrong space - i have asked its creator to move it). But i am more concerned with the desire to create articles on these individuals and list their names in WP.
