A mostly unreferenced WP:INDISCRIMINATE list of trivial references to the battle of Waterloo in media, with an added weirdness such as commemorative objects and events, Waterloo in quotations, and even a list of reenactment events. Zero evidence there any reliable sources that address this topic. If any rewriting were to happen, WP:TNT would apply. Article fails WP:NLIST, WP:GNG and Wikipedia:IPC. - Delete - Another "in popular culture" article that is nothing but a list of largely non-notable trivia, without a single source actually discussing the actual overall concept of the Battle of Waterloo's depiction or use in popular culture. This one is particularly poor, as many of the entries are not even examples of its use in popular culture, or are simply times someone used the phrase "met his Waterloo". As such, there is really nothing that warrants preserving. Rorshacma (talk) 17:27, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
- Delete for the reasons already stated. MichaelMaggs (talk) 14:49, 10 April 2022 (UTC)
- Delete - I would agree with this view that is largely just a collection of trivia. If there is a need to talk about the long term cultural impact of the battle, then it should in the first instance be done in its article with references to appropriate sources (and not just be a glorified list in any case).
