I created this article, however Wikipedia:Notability (politics) proposes that diplomatic notability should be a person who has "received significant coverage in crafting an international agreement or related to a notable diplomatic event." I consequently no longer believe that there is anything noteworthy about the subject's diplomatic career. Not sure if the book award is enough to swing it. Uhooep (talk) 08:15, 6 February 2023 (UTC)

- Delete Ambassadors are not inherently notable. This one fails WP:BIO for lack of coverage. A search seems to yield an American national security adviser of the same name. LibStar (talk) 09:27, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
- Speedy Delete per WP:G7. Article was created by a confirmed sock of the nominator. Creator/nominator is the only substantial author of the page. However, absent a speedy, a "regular" delete is fine per User:LibStar's argument. Frank Anchor 16:45, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
