I created this article, however Wikipedia:Notability (politics) proposes that diplomatic notability should be a person who has "received significant coverage in crafting an international agreement or related to a notable diplomatic event." I consequently no longer believe that there is anything noteworthy about the subject's diplomatic career. Not sure if the book award is enough to swing it. Delete Ambassadors are not inherently notable. This one fails WP:BIO for lack of coverage. A search seems to yield an American national security adviser of the same name. LibStar (talk) 09:27, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Speedy Delete per WP:G7. Article was created by a confirmed sock of the nominator. Creator/nominator is the only substantial author of the page. However, absent a speedy, a "regular" delete is fine per User:LibStar's argument. Frank Anchor 16:45, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
