This article may have been intended as a disambiguation page, but it would not qualify as one. It discusses two meanings of marital repudiation: one about Babylonian dowry law, and the other about the Islamic talaq process. Only the talaq meaning is notable. Since we already have in-depth content on talaq elsewhere and an article on Babylonian law, we should delete this article as a dictionary definition.  — Mr. Guye (talk) (contribs)  00:32, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. Babylonian divorce law is not my favorite subject, but if scholars have written about it at length, then it is notable. The references to it in a book originally published in 1913, for ezample, and in this Google Scholar search, suggest that the topic is notable even if no Wkipedia editor has bothered to write an article specifically about the topic. • Keep Roman law distinguished repudiation and divorce – see here. Andrew D. (talk) 09:15, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep appears well sourced, extends beyond the repudiation in Islamic law. FOARP (talk) 11:59, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. I've also added India. Clarityfiend (talk) 19:01, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. As a concept spanning many cultures this should not be a disambig but a proper article. I've added a cite to the article about Roman law, more reliable (and modern) than the one already given here. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:47, 21 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep and expand is the consensus. Bearian (talk) 20:07, 23 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
