The result was keep. The delete arguments generally lack a basis in policy. Being all redlinks is not prohibited by WP:CSC as are lists were all the entries fail to meet notability for their own article. Probably most of the redlinking should be removed in this case, but that is not cause for deletion. I also fail to see how WP:NPOL is relevant to a list, that guideline is about notability of individual articles of people. That makes it a moot point whether or not inherited rulers count as politicians. SpinningSpark 12:32, 22 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

• Keep. Everyone on the list passes WP:NPOL: Politicians and judges who have held international, national, or (for countries with federal or similar systems of government) state/province–wide office, or have been members of legislative bodies at those levels. • Merge/delete The above above is a nonsequitur, these are not politicians or judges or elected individuals, nor do they hold a national or state-wide office, and I don't think we've established notability for all of these types of non-political leaders. Searching "Northern state of Mamprusi" yields no results that this is even an entity. The Mamprusi people are an ethnic group that is a historical kingdom – Mamprugu Kingdom – covered by the source that provides this list so this could be merged to that page, but I don't think this needs to be a separate article. • Comment. Kings are just as notable as presidents. The rulers of the historical kingdom held a national office long before the Gold Coast was created as a British colony. Even after British colonisation of what is now Ghana, and despite a loss of political power, the rulers still held the state-wide office of ruler. • I must say that I am shocked that we have editors who seem to assume that no states existed before the Europeans came along to civilise Africa. The proper title of this would be List of rulers of Mamprugu, and, as has been said, every one of these kings passes WP:POLITICIAN, just as Wyoming state legislators do.
