No reason for this to be separate from Native Americans in film - the article doesn't even spend that long talking about stereotypes! I would also question that there even is one "Hollywood Indian" stereotype - that the article says "the stereotype has undergone significant changes from the beginning of cinema to the present day" is an indication that we are not dealing with one stereotype but several.
