The result was no consensus. But it seems that a merger of this and related articles into one article about Ob-Ugrian gods or similar would have consensus.  Sandstein  06:43, 11 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Heini-iki

Heini-iki (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View log · Stats)
(Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL)

This article is basically a paraphrase of the source it's taken from, and the RS of it is questionable as WP:SPS, and even that source says information is sparse, and it's WP:DICDEF as it stands. Other GHits are mirrors of this article. No WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for redirect, because which Ugric mythology this belongs to is unclear. MSJapan (talk) 02:45, 19 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Merge to Num-Torum. I added another source from a book that looks reliable and also added some description and a little of the relation of the god to his people. No longer a dictionary def, if it ever was. Both sources refer to the Khanty people, which narrows the Ugric mythology. No doubt there are offline sources and likely non-English sources, too. But the sources found so far are not quite in enough depth to reach notability per WP:GNG. The best approach may be to merge this article into Num-Torum, as related brother gods, to form the nucleus of an Ob-Ugrian gods article. Probably all the articles in Category:Ob-Ugrian gods should be combined into one such article. --Mark viking (talk) 05:46, 19 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. God. You can merge it you want, but these are two different gods... the merged article ought to have a different name. I see that there are five articles in Category:Ob-Ugrian gods so why merge these two? What I'd suggest is keep the article, then if Mark viking or somebody wants to merge two or more articles together, or merge all five articles into the category into one article or whatever, they can do that at their leisure. I'd be happier with an expert such as Mark viking doing the merging than an admin doing it, to be honest. Herostratus (talk) 03:39, 28 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
