- The original paper probably was. But that doesn't matter as very clearly even from the source cited this is not a distinct subject. One can read all about "Uncle Jerry" in Carlisle, Iowa#History. Uncle G (talk) 05:32, 24 December 2023 (UTC)

While the ghost town of Dudley is notable, and discussion of it is extensive in history books, there's no need for a separate article when it's already covered in a cited article elsewhere.
