- Keep I have added various references to the article. The one that I think is of most relevance here is the 2009 "Laudatio for Professor Clive Emsley": "one of the foremost exponents of criminal justice history. (...) intellectual leadership (...) unique role in developing the field of criminal justice history research worldwide (...) all groundbreaking, and many still standard works in the field".
