Keep - while ambassadors are not automatically notable, we have tended to keep those ministers who have been ambassadors to several countries. With a few clicks, I found several good sources: here, there, where, and yonder. I also found a letter to the Times that he wrote and a brief mention here. That's in addition to passing mentions in the World Book, parliamentary debates, and Who's Who listings. He seems to have had quite a distinguished diplomatic career.
