I think you need to familiarise yourself with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines before criticising others. First of all, you should acquaint yourself with "comment" tags . We are fully aware that David de Gea has not completed any transfer to Manchester United, but following Alex Ferguson's comments on Tuesday night, we felt it was appropriate to add the transfer within comment tags. That way, once the transfer was confirmed, all we would have to do is add a reference and remove the tags. If you see a problem with this, please explain it.

Second, with regard to your contribution at 2011–12 Manchester United F.C. season, I suggest you read, read and re-read again the essay at WP:BRD. I respect your right to be bold with your edits, but I (and every other editor on this site) reserve the right to revert any edits you make, given an appropriate reason. I concede that I was not immediately forthcoming with my detailed reasons for reverting your edits, but I gave you reason enough, and that should have led to the third step in the BOLD-revert-discuss cycle, at which stage you should have initiated a discussion regarding your changes on the article's talk page.

Finally, Wikipedia is not meant to be for fans, it is meant to be for anyone who happens to read it. The average man on the street isn't going to give two shits about how United's new kit is made or what past designs it is reminiscent of. Furthermore, your section on the search for new players is made up entirely of speculation regarding United's squad needs. We do require secondary sources for any facts to be included in an article, but that does not mean we should include any and all facts mentioned in secondary sources. Besides which, if we were to include anything about Manchester United's transfer dealings, it should go in the "Transfers" section.

By the way – and considering I have been on this site for about 5 years, you should heed my words carefully – you will find that such an aggressive attitude will not get you very far here. Treat people with a little respect, and you'll find it goes both ways. – PeeJay 10:33, 28 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:By My Side (David Choi Korea Special Ed.).jpg

Thanks for uploading File:By My Side (David Choi Korea Special Ed.).jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 09:05, 5 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Only You (David Choi album).jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Only You (David Choi album).jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Replaceable fair use File:That Girl Screenshot.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:That Girl Screenshot.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:59, 18 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
