Renamed user 3728482038

I noticed you created this when vanishing someone. They are under sanction after a big dust up with BLPs, a real problem. I thought we only did courtesy vanishing for editors in good standing. The reason being it is too easy for them to create new accounts and avoid the sanctions, etc etc. Even on their new user page, they put "retired" but "One day I may come back, but likely not for a few months or a few years." (I since CSD'ed, but I'm happy to restore for you) This seems to me to be 100% not valid for vanishing, and that doing so was a mistake that should be reversed. I'm not the only one surprised here. Rename

Hello, I noticed you reverted my rename. You are risking my personal safety by doing this. I am not vanishing to hide my bad actions, but because I fear for my safety and I am no longer planing on returning to Wikipedia. please reaccept my vanish Antny08 (talk) 16:43, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I can't do anything further here, per the policy. Please resolve your ban issue with the administrators of the English Wikipedia first. —Yahya (talk • contribs.) 17:06, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It says that you "usually" do not give out vanishes to people in bad standing. I believe this is an exception. Also, I am not in bad standing, because I am not blocked. Antny08 (talk) 17:17, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
