User talk:Xia

This user finds the rule-infested inferno of English Wikipedia despicable. You literally cannot do anything here anymore without some know-it-all rule-maniac throwing an obscure abbreviation at you. This place used to be a place where people could facilitate the growth of knowledge. Now it's just a neverending, ever-growing cobweb of sub-sub-sub-sub rules that you need to know by heart if you want to even replace a comma in an article. You spend hours, days, improving articles, all that to be reverted by some fall-in "patroller" throwing a "rule" at you, that you can otherwise debate the validity of. Especially with articles that need attention of people who actually know something about a topic, its notability and special features, these general rule-throwers are incredible annoyance. It has taken away from the joy of editing.

Reliable sources for Chinese articles

Are China Daily, CGTN and Global Times considered reliable sources? I see Horse Eye Jack removing these from The Untamed (TV series). 72.50.16.193 (talk) 13:24, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

They are as reliable as any other major newspaper out there. He is crazy. Teemeah 편지 (letter) 13:29, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Currently there are two RFCs in The King: Eternal Monarch's page; RFC on Second Paragraph of Lede and RFC on Reception section. Your opinion would be highly valued as you are familiar with Korea-related pages and k-dramas/TV series pages, and have edited The King's page before. The RFCs need votes for us to reach an conclusion. CherryPie94 🍒🥧 (talk) 11:34, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Problem with your custom signature

Hello, I'm sending you this note because you need to update your signature. You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. Your signature does not link to your account. This is usually because your account has been renamed.

To fix your signature, you need to find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences and either blank it or change the link to your current account name. More information is available at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. mw:New requirements for user signatures/Help#Wrong user links. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures.

Notice

The article Manga+ has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable album

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
