Page move

I have reverted your page move from Chip (rapper) to Chipmunk (Rapper). The page should live at the name that the artist is commonly known as. The fact that he formerly used a different name is not a reason to move the page to that former name. There was already a redirect from Chipmunk (rapper) to Chip (rapper); that suffices for people searching for the former name. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:24, 3 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oh my mistake it will never happen againTheslighteditor (talk) 14:26, 3 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

About the recent tag

Hi there, user. I noticed your recent tag on French Montana, and my reaction is: I agree that the article is currently a bit oversized, but I don't agree the downsizing should be in the "feuds" section. If you look at the timeline, that section covered 2002-2010. While most of the conflict was between 2008-2009, I still feel that being detailed is acceptable since the section covers a large span. The downsizing, however, I plan to do in the "present" section. The reason it looks big at the moment is because, as pages/articles are created for the albums/mixtapes the information will be relegated to those articles, and I (or whoever else is contributing) shall remove the relevant information as necessary. What are you thoughts or suggestions on the matter? DA1 (talk) 23:48, 3 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Alright seems fairTheslighteditor (talk) 23:58, 3 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
    • Thanks, I won't remove the tag either, until we actually get around to downsizing the article. DA1 (talk) 00:09, 4 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yungen

From a novice POV, it looks good. But I think you can work on the grammar/sentencing a little bit (I could share my edits, if you want me to). There's some stylistic perks that I might do different (like instead of putting year in brackets/parentheses, to just state it in a sentence form) but I think yours is just as acceptable. DA1 (talk) 00:42, 4 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ok do as much as u want coz it will be a lot of help broTheslighteditor (talk) 00:44, 4 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I edited it. My tips and pointers:

  • When starting a fresh section and often paragraph, start with the name as opposed to "he".
  • I changed English to British, since "English" often alludes to race. But that's your call. I added "England" to the bio box instead.
  • Sometimes when talking about information (that might easily doubted), its better to "state" that he revealed it (kidnapping) in an interview/article rather than just outright saying it yourself.
  • Its better to keep the 'ref name' tags as compact as possible. DA1 (talk) 01:22, 4 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Okay ill keep it in mind and by the way thank you for the edits your sentencing and grammar is very good.Theslighteditor (talk) 14:55, 4 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
What subject matter did you wanna ask me about? And thanks, I think the key is to read news articles. I rarely read books, people would be shocked to hear that tbh. DA1 (talk) 16:57, 4 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Question about Wikipedia but not a normal question so yeah um btw are you a standard user or an adminTheslighteditor (talk) 17:01, 4 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'm a regular user, but I've been around for over half a decade in some form or another. Okay, I'll let you know if we can get in touch, g2g. DA1 (talk) 17:16, 4 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
