Hello. There is a serious problem. It appears that you just changed two words in a referenced citation, and then changed the citation. It doesn't really work that way. For one, there is attribution-by that is needed for the Inthakin story. Removing that is a problem legally. Then just substituting some other source (without explanation). It seems you are trying to skirt an edit-war issue here. Sorry, but the reference you cite points out the basic problem of differentiating the words in the historical record, as well as the meaning. While the author uses the word Lawa, there is no clear statement of identity, rather that it might be impossible to sort it out, regardless of present day peoples and their names. I have serious misgivings about this change in language as if the "correction" is standing on any historical evidence, as it is not. I am sorry, but I don't find any other way to reply to your removal of a link to Ingvar the Far-Travelled in the William of Rubreck-article.

You say that the Caspian sea is not mentioned in the page I link to. That is correct, the page on Ingvar states that

"Ingvar the Far-Travelled launched this expedition from Sweden, travelling down the Volga River into the land of the Saracens (Serkland)."

Hence, he sailed down the Volga into the Caspian sea, and across the Caspian sea to today's Iran.

Hi Brainspin! First of all, although it is mentioned that Ingvar the Far-Travelled travelled to the Caspian, nowhere is it mentioned that he knew that it was an inland sea and not connected to the Arctic Ocean. One can assume that he might have known it, but that will only be an assumption. I added our website to Songkran/Thailand. We are probably the only website only about songkran with very well written content. Our Songkran website are translated to English, Swedish and YES Thai language to respect Thai culture and Thailand.

This website have 90% content about songkran in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Burma and China. 5% This website have information about holidays and festivals in same countries, as Songkran is actully only a festival. 5% We have images of Songkran.

100% Website about songkran.

We do have internal banners on desktop left side and right side, mobile is 2 up and 2 down. all is related to Thailand only. No google adverds, no pop up banners nothing ells. this small banners no one can buy.

I see you removed other links. In "References" first link i open is bangkokpost, they may not fit in wiki either. Millions of websites have some sort of income from eg, ads or banners and they are on wiki.

But you win, i will close down my wiki account as on some websites we do make money.

@Pihljohan: Please read WP:ELNO. It is for those reasons that I removed the external links you had placed into two articles. Please also read WP:COI because that apparently applies to you by your own admission. And as for for using a newspaper as a reference for content in articles, this is even advised in wikipedia (read wp:source for more info). Good luck earning more money elsewhere. Hi. I noticed that there has been a link added to Chinese History by User_talk:Jacobren, which looks like a link to a personal page. I saw also that you have warned this user twice previously (Oct 2017) about problematic edits.

Hi Mozzy66. I think you meant the article Chinese art where Jacobren added a link to that very short "how to hold a Chinese brush and make Chinese ink" info-blog they themselves had written? In WP:LINKSTOAVOID, example 6 states: Blogs, personal web pages and most fansites (negative ones included), except those written by a recognized authority. (This exception for blogs, etc., controlled by recognized authorities is meant to be very limited; as a minimum standard, recognized authorities who are individuals always meet Wikipedia's notability criteria for people.) Perhaps also example 4 would apply as they are linking to something they themselves had written: Links mainly intended to promote a website, including online petitions. In any case, Jacobren shouldn't be doing what they did. You can indeed revert their actions, and then paste the most appropriate warning template from Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace. In this case, you have several choices. The most appropriate one I could find was Wikipedia is not for blogging or promotion (template{{subst:uw-blog|Art of China}}). Make sure to place it under a correct date, and otherwise create a new header with the month and year in it, in this case, by pasting ==February 2018==. Or you could use one of those nifty Wikipedia gadgets (Wikipedia:Twinkle) which automates a lot. Normally, a user is "allowed" 4 trespasses per month before you report someone to the appropriate places. For most forms of vandalism that would be the Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism page. Sometimes, when they have a very long (somewhat recent) history of trespasses, you could report them sooner. Or if their trespasses are extremely grave such as very extreme racism. @JHLookJr: Thanks for mentioning that there were still some blogs linked there. I have now also removed them. Sorry, but per WP:ELNO it is not recommended to use blogs for external links. In addition, Template:Uw-spam2 clearly states "Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product." @JHLookJr: Hi again. Most people start out making mistakes in Wikipedia due to being new here and not knowing the rules and regulations of this place. I hope that you will continue editing here. Just keep in mind that linking to blogs and such is a bit of a no-go, especially if they were written by yourself. It would seem that you have extensive travel experience so your input should be valuable. Make sure to find a reliable WP:SOURCE for your edits though. If you would like to add your images to the collection already here, please do that at the central file depository (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page) from which all wiki-projects can extract images.
