- Thanks for the note, and welcome to Wikipedia. I've taken a look at your proposed additions, and would not be inclined to add them at this time. The main problem is that they are written in the tone of marketing or PR material. Wikipedia is intended as a neutral encyclopedia, sourced to third party materials that separately, and already, describe the subject at hand. Promotional or similar material is not consistent with those aims. Even if the matter of tone can be improved, the very level of detail is more in the nature of marketing / promotional / press release efforts than that of an encyclopedia. Thank you for your guidance, I really appreciate it.
As so much has happened at the company over the last couple of years, there are quite a lot of material changes we would like to be reflected in the current Investcorp Wikipedia entry for the benefit of the community.
I'd be grateful if you could let me know the best way to have some or all of these updates included in the current copy. We would be happy to provide the revised neutral text and third party references where appropriate, please let me know.
